Dark chocolate and chilli
This recipe requires our suitable-for-vegans Dark Hot Chocolate Flakes. You’ll also need oat milk, a sprinkle of chilli powder, and an optional squeeze of maple or agave syrup.
To make:
- Warm up a mug full of oat milk in a pan on the hob.
- Remove from the heat and add 30g of dark chocolate flakes.
- Return to the heat and slowly stir or whisk in the chocolate flakes until fully melted.
- Add a tiny pinch of chilli powder.
- Take off the heat and pour into your mug. Taste. If you want your hot chocolate a little sweeter, add a teaspoon of maple or agave syrup. Enjoy!
Dark chocolate and cinnamon
This recipe also uses our Dark Hot Chocolate Flakes, oat milk, and cinnamon powder. You’ll get a similar aromatic flavour without the spicy kick.
To make:
- Warm up a mug full of oat milk in a pan on the hob.
- Remove from the heat and add 30g of dark chocolate flakes.

- Add a sprinkling of cinnamon powder.
- Take off the heat and pour into your mug. Drink up!

To make:
- Warm up a mug full of oat milk in a pan on the hob.
- Remove from the heat and add 30g of our mint dark chocolate flakes.
- Return to the heat and slowly stir or whisk in the chocolate flakes until fully melted.
- Take off the heat and pour into your mug. Add a single sprig of fresh mint to your hot chocolate as a garnish. Sip, and enjoy the refreshing flavour combination.
Creamy hazelnut
To create this hazelnut delight, you’ll need our Single Origin Dark Hot Chocolate Buttons and hazelnut milk for a subtle nutty flavour.
To make:
- Cover 25g of chocolate buttons in boiling water for 20 seconds to soften.
- Whisk into a paste and add 150-200ml of hazelnut milk.
- Enjoy! If you’d like your hot chocolate a little warmer, add it to a pan and heat at a low temperature for a few minutes.
Dark gingerbread
