We just finished our participation in the Virgin Startup Foodpreneur Final!
Four amazing British food start-ups fighting to be the number one, in a star-studded final after passing through the quarter-final and semi-final stages beating 300 other candidates.
It was a really challenging moment, four experienced business people were seating close by judging us, and we had to present our product in 3 minutes trying to convince that our brand was the best!

The judge consisted of four really important people in food business environment including Levi Roots, Paul Lindley, Jim Cregan and Alice Living.
The other finalist competing with us were:
1) Tuk Tuk Chai a drinks brand creating tea, they are specialized in spicy chai milk drinks.
2) Love Corn with roasted corn bags of delicious different flavours.
3) Snaffling Pig premium pork scratching with a host of exciting flavours including the Pig of Doom!
Our pitch was the first one, and after 3 quick minutes including a pitch and a specially written poem, it was the quick fire question round when we explained our history as we are following the steps of my great-great-great grandfather John Cadbury and where we want to get with our organic chocolate in the future.
After deliberating, the judges chose Snaffling Pig, and was a hard moment but we are grateful for them and also for being in the final were lots of other start ups weren't able.
After the event, we had lots of interest from media and did over 10 interviews finishing with a Live BBC World News one alongside Levi Roots who I spent the day with. Here is the clip of me talking about Love Cocoa
